We’re often asked how an artist can edit the biographies, Banner images, tour dates, and “Featured Content” on their Spotify Artist Pages. You can do so through Spotify For Artists or the Spotify For Artists iOS Mobile App. If you don’t have Spotify For Artists, you’ll need to claim your artists profile. Check out How to claim an artist profile before your first release.
We ask that artists keep these profiles up to date by adhering to the following specifications:
Bios - Biographies must be within 1500 characters, and can include links to social profiles, music, or playlists.
Images - Accepted formats (in order of preference): TIFF, PNG, or JPEG. Note: The format should also use lossless encoding.
Highest resolution available.
At least 640px width or height.
1:1 aspect ratio for cover art.
Do not upscale images.
To guarantee ingestion, all images should be encoded with an sRGB color space with 24 bits per pixel and color profiles applied directly.
Tour Dates - to incorporate tour dates, you must link to your Songkick profile, which can be created and managed at tourbox.songkick.com. This can also be done through Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, or AXS
“Featured content” - Artists now have the ability to pin content to the top of their profile -- a playlist, track, album, or podcast, and this content will remain featured for two weeks
Merch - to have merchandise listed on your Spotify profile, you’ll need to have a store set up with Merchbar. Once listed on Merchbar, the top products will automatically populate your Spotify page as well.
